Laying the Groundwork

We Start by Listening

We’ve spent months on the ground—listening, learning, and co-designing with local leaders. It’s how we’ve built a model shaped by real needs and bold ambitions.

Empowering Farmers, Close to Home

Local Processing Centers (LPCs)

LPCs are the first step in the Love Liberia model—community-based hubs where farmers deliver their crops to be stored, safeguarded, and prepared for processing. But they’re more than infrastructure. Each one is a local engine of opportunity.

Each LPC includes:

  • Clean, protected storage for raw agricultural goods
  • A shop offering Love Liberia products at affordable prices.

  • A dedicated space for hands-on agribusiness workshops and community learning.

  • A water purification system that supplies surrounding communities.

By keeping infrastructure local, LPCs reduce barriers to participation, offer daily benefits, and lay the groundwork for scalable rural development.

The Engine of Local Value Creation

Regional Operations Complexes (ROCs)

ROCs are hubs where raw harvests from LPCs become packaged, market-ready Love Liberia goods for sale or export.

Each ROC includes:

  • Advanced processing lines (grains, roots, oils, dried goods, and purified water)

  • Packaging and labeling facilities

  • A retail store open to the public and farmers

  • A training center for education, business planning, and expert-led sessions

ROCs serve as anchors for regional growth. The long-term vision is for every LPC to grow into a future ROC—continuing a cycle of reinvestment, empowerment, and economic development.
Explore Our Impact

Growth That Stays Home

We reinvest in Liberia. That means supporting farmers and helping businesses grow—right where the value begins.

Rice Mill

We’re bringing industrial rice processing to Liberia so farmers can earn more and the country can feed itself.

Fruit Drying

We help small fruit producers scale up through shared equipment, packaging support, and ready buyers at home and abroad.

Cassava Processing

Cassava is everywhere, but value isn’t. We build processing hubs to turn this staple into jobs and export income.

What’s Next

We’re just getting started. As we grow, we’ll track jobs, income gains, and reinvestment—measured not just by numbers, but by shared ownership and real impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

We get asked a lot—how does this actually work? What makes Love Liberia different? Why focus on business? If your question is not here, please reach out to us and we'd be happy to answer.

We build real businesses with local partners in Liberia—helping them grow, hire, and feed more people.

Aid plays a vital role. Our focus is different: we believe lasting change happens when people can earn, employ, and invest. That’s what properly run businesses can provide.

We listen to local leaders, visit various businesses, and look for people already doing the hard work—just missing some of the tools. If you have a business helping to build Liberia, and could benefit from our programs, please reach out to us and let us know what you are doing and how we can help.

We track jobs created, farms supported, and food produced. Every business tells a story—and we measure the ripple. We track our efforts and audit regularly to avoid corruption and ensure maximum impact with all we do.
